In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties such as:
1) Develop and promulgate Information Technology strategy, policy, guidance, and plans.
2) Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation to support hardware/software lifecycle (installation, operation, change and removal).
3) Plan, develop and/or manage processes across the information systems/services life cycle to ensure Information Technology capabilities meet current and future organizational and enterprise missions.
4) Develops networks and builds alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals.

DUTIES

  • You will provide oversight and guidance on IA issues to ensure FME and all off-site laboratories and contracting facilities maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) from the appropriate Designated Authorization Official (DAO).
  • You will review de-conflict, interprets and implement numerous DOD, Navy, and Intelligence Community policies, standards, and guidelines pertaining to IA and computer security to determine effect on the program.
  • You will evaluate, develop, and recommend new methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to implement IA guidelines into FME mission procedures within laboratory and support facilities and for systems used in the field.
  • You will apply expertise in IT security principles and judgment, resourcefulness, and ingenuity to integrate higher-level guidance into an unusual and complex FME information system while maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency of the mission.

(DCWF) PRIMARY WORK ROLES OF 511. AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT, THE INCUMBENT OF THE POSITION IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN QUALIFICATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH DON CYBER WORKFORCE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS OF SECNAV M-5239.2. THIS DESIGNATION REQUIRES:

  • The incumbent participate in continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAVINST 5239.20A and SECNAV M-5239.2. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning must be documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.
  • The incumbent must obtain the required credentials within 12 months of appointment and maintain credentials as described in SECNAV M-5231.2 for DCWF roles of 511 proficiency level (Advanced). For more information, review SECNAV M-5239.2 Chapter 3, paragraph b (1) (g) 1. *Failure to meet a condition of employment may result in disciplinary and/or adverse action up to removal from Federal service.
