POSITION & REQUIREMENTS

As a IT Specialist - Scrum Master* at the Marketing & Distribution Services department, you are responsible for supporting the Web and Marketing teams within the department. Your tasks include assisting and supporting the teams, the Product Owner, and the organization.
Supporting the Teams You coordinate sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives for both teams. You ensure that each team remains focused on their objectives and deliverables, helping them work efficiently, adapt to changing requirements, and continuously improve their processes. You are responsible for setting up Scrum as described in the Scrum Guide and helping everyone understand Scrum theory and practice. Additionally, you coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality, and you remove impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress.
Supporting the Product Owner You form a strong duo with the Product Owner, who serves both teams. You assist the Product Owner in finding techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management, and help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items. You facilitate collaboration with stakeholders when requested or needed.
Supporting the Organization You actively contribute to the rollout of the “RAW” initiative (Robeco Agile Way of Working). You are an advocate of the program and ensure that the teams are aligned with the way of working. You lead, train, and coach the organization in its Scrum adoption, plan and advise on Scrum implementations, and help employees and stakeholders understand and follow an empirical approach to complex work. You actively remove obstacles between stakeholders and Scrum Teams.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile Practices: Lead and facilitate Scrum events for both the Web team and the Marketing team.
  • Servant Leadership: Act as a servant leader for both teams, removing impediments and barriers to progress.
  • Coach and Mentor: Coach and guide team members in self-management and cross-functionality.
  • Promote Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment within and between the teams, facilitating communication and cooperation.
  • Support the Product Owner: Assist in finding techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.
  • Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and address conflicts within the teams or with stakeholders.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor project progress using agile metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Support the Organization: Actively contribute to the rollout of the “RAW” initiative, lead, train, and coach the organization in its Scrum adoption.
    What do you bring? You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field. You are a Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) or have an equivalent certification with at least 5 years of work experience, including at least 4 years as a Scrum Master. You have a strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles. You are hands-on, proactive, results-oriented, and a strong team player.

Additionally, you possess:

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of website development, sales enablement and customer data platform tooling, marketing, and distribution processes and technologies is a plus.
  • Interest in learning new tools and techniques.
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both written and spoken.
  • Availability for 40, 36, or 32 hours per week.
