JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a rapidly growing organization, Situate is seeking a career-driven IT professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in IT Infrastructure (servers & network), Cloud Solutions (Azure) & Cyber Security within a corporate environment.
The candidate must possess deep working experience on MS Azure & MS365, Hyper-V & VMWare virtualization, Windows Server Management, SAN & NAS data storage, Server Backup Solutions (Hornet VM Bak & Veeam), HPE, Dell & Lenovo Server, APC & CyberPower UPS management. Advanced networking (i.e. FortiGate), ZTNA & ThreatLocker experience is a big plus.
For this position, you will be responsible for implementing Azure Cloud Infrastructure, On-Premise IT Infrastructure to Azure Cloud Migration, On-Premise IT Infrastructure Projects, as well as maintaining existing IT backend infrastructure (i.e. servers, backups) for multiple customers. You will also provide Level 3 IT support for our front-end support team. Strong problem solving skills, result oriented mindset, eagerness to work hard and go extra miles for excellency are great assets in this position.
The ideal candidate needs to have a minimum of 3 years of IT infrastructure work experience (Local working experience preferred). As a highly collaborative individual, you are ready to execute successful projects, proposals, and infrastructure deployments, self-leading and managing the changing dynamics of projects and client expectations. You are a team-player with an appreciation for communicating within all levels of a company and open to constructive criticism within our team environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Experienced with troubleshooting hardware and software issues involving a vast range of computing and communications technologies.

· Ability to resolve practical problems and manage changing variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
· Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Strong Project planning & time management.
· Must have Driving License
Salary: Starting from CAD$55,000 ~ CAD$62,000 per year, depending on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

· Implementing Azure Cloud Infrastructure, On-Premise IT Infrastructure to Azure Cloud Migration, On-Premise IT Infrastructure Projects
· Monitor, maintain & troubleshoot SME corporate networks, servers & backups, UPS, data storage & other backend hardware for multiple clients, assuming final responsibilities; Ensure high service uptime & solid backups for these IT systems.
· Monitor, maintain & troubleshoot MS365 & Azure Cloud Infrastructure for multiple customers, assuming final responsibilities
· Monitor & maintain high cyber security for SME corporate network, servers, backup & cloud infrastructure and endpoints. Handle & fix cyber security incidents.
· Handle level 2 & 3 end user IT support tickets; Assist in end user tech support in case of shortage of hands.
· Up-sales - develop and present IT Proposals to clients on infrastructure improvements & upgrades.
· Manage service delivery with detailed ticketing and time tracking, including description of problem, work performed and resolution.
· Assist in sales & procurement
· Monitor and respond to critical alerts. After-hours emergency support in a rotating 24/7 on-call environment.
· Travel to clients’ offices, mostly in Calgary
· Flexible and able to work weekends and after hours as needed.
· Technical training of new and\or existing staff
