St. Louis Public Library is seeking a IT Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is innovative and engaged to help us move forward with our primary mission as a customer-centered public library, providing vital services to the people of St. Louis. The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining staff and publicly-accessed desktop software and ensuring all applications are up-to-date.

Responsibilities
  • Provides Level 2 support
  • Configure, update, document, and test audio and video production software, design applications, and other specialty software for Creative Experience computers.
  • Configure, test, and schedule routine software updates and images using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) software.
  • Configure, test, and install communications and network equipment, including phones, switches, and access points.
  • Configure and manage the assignment of mobile devices.
  • Investigate and resolve malware alerts.
  • Investigate and resolve Windows update errors.
  • Manage user account additions, removals, and change requests using Active Directory.
  • Assist with Google Admin configuration and administration.
  • Ensure functionality of group collaboration systems.
  • Manage and update printer and copier configuration.
  • Create and maintain documentation associated with all duties.
  • Assists with other projects as needed.
