JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a proactive IT Technician to help support our IT operations from the ground up! This role requires autonomy, initiative, and expertise in networking and tech support to help our staff during their day-to-day tasks. In this role, you’ll support local and cloud infrastructures, help implement new IT policies, and advise on our IT policies.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, self taught from different backgrounds is also preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a customer support or technical support role.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and organization, excellent analytical skills, initiative, and team spirit
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and security principles.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un technicien informatique proactif pour nous aider à soutenir nos opérations informatiques à partir de la base ! COMPÉTENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Licence ou diplôme en informatique, en technologie de l’information ou dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience équivalente, l’autodidaxie dans des domaines différents est également souhaitée.
  • 2 ans d’expérience dans un rôle d’assistance à la clientèle ou d’assistance technique.
  • Capacité à diagnostiquer et à résoudre des problèmes techniques.
  • Faire preuve d’un haut degré d’autonomie et d’organisation, d’excellentes capacités d’analyse, d’initiative et d’esprit d’équipe.
  • Capacité à gérer des tâches multiples et à établir des priorités de manière efficace.
  • Connaissance des protocoles de réseau, du routage et des principes de sécurité.
  • Connaissance des solutions de sauvegarde et de reprise après sinistre.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day health of the network, and servers
  • Provides systems, monitoring, maintenance, and problem resolution for Linux, etc.
  • Install and configure new servers
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
  • Provide first-line support for on-site and/or remote employees, such as troubleshooting tech issues.
  • Asset Management & Tracking: Handling all new and existing hardware acquisitions and tracking asset assignments to employees or departments.
  • Create scripts to automate processes
  • Conducting regular audits to verify that assets are accounted for and match the inventory records
  • In collaboration with respective team managers, assist with onboarding with regards to all software and hardware needs.
  • Ensuring all equipment is returned, and securely wiping data on returned devices
  • Provide network access to all staff
  • Set up workstations with all required software, hardware, and furniture
  • Provide network accounts and passwords as required
