This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications and technology solutions. This role leads the design, execution, and oversight of comprehensive testing strategies across multiple platforms, driving continuous improvement in quality standards and processes. Partnering closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers, the Senior QA Engineer provides technical expertise in test automation, defect management, and quality metrics to ensure successful delivery of business-critical systems. This position also mentors junior QA team members, champions best practices, and plays a key role in advancing the organization’s overall quality assurance framework.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION

  • A Bachelor’s or Masters degree in relevant field is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of technical QA / Testing experience in a Sr. QA Engineering role including hands-on experience with test planning, test creation and test
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) and proficient in SQL
  • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Junit, or TestNG)
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems, bug tracking systems, and test management tools (e.g. Jira, Jenkins, TestRail)
  • Retail operations experience preferred

  • Monitor test progress, defect tracking, and resolution to drive timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and organizational processes across all testing efforts.
  • Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing testing outcomes, identifying gaps, and recommending enhancements to tools, processes, and automation.
