The Manager of Store Technology Deployment ensures hardware technology (e.g., POS registers, pinpads, scanners, etc.) is installed, working, and maintained in all 7000+ Family Dollar stores in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. This role coordinates with internal peers and leaders in IT, Finance, Real Estate/Construction, and Store Operations as well as with trusted Vendor Partners to ensure ongoing operational excellence.
The Manager oversees a team of 6 – 12 Associates. Together these associates manage the full lifecycle of store hardware including model evaluation & selection, forecasting & procurement, inventory & asset management, deployment services, end of life disposition, and vendor governance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, MIS or other four-year related degree & 5+ years of related work experience OR 10+ years of related work experience
• Experience managing the work of external vendors
• Experience working with IT systems integrators and hardware vendors
• Strong project management and process improvement skills
• Retail hardware and services procurement experience, including contract negotiations
