Schedule: Full Time The role you’ll contribute: The Strategic Program Manager works in concert with co-developing vision and strategy on quality and safety outcomes and formally represents Advent Health Acute Care Services to internal and external stakeholders. Appointed to measure, analyze, and improve strategically selected outcomes, experience, and the cost of care. Provides strategic support for the portfolio of Care Setting projects. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you’ll bring to the team: Evaluates and manages strategic plans, developing priorities, determining structure, and defining approaches for clinical quality and outcomes. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to conduct analysis and develop key deliverables for governance and planning meetings. Presents strategic information, including analysis of existing initiatives and progress towards completion, to staff and operational leaders. Identifies and proposes potential projects aligned with strategic objectives. Analyzes performance improvement data to identify quality concerns, practice patterns, and areas for process improvement. Utilizes knowledge of standards, survey methodology, and related tools to ensure regulatory and accreditation readiness. Designs, establishes, and maintains organizational structure and staffing to accomplish goals and objectives; recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff. Manages performance, coaching, discipline, engagement, and talent management of the team. Manages recruitment, retention, training, scheduling, and competence of staff; coordinates education opportunities within the system and community. Serves as a resource to the multi-disciplinary team, answering questions and clarifying guidelines; conducts routine section meetings and educational sessions. Exercises independent decision-making to identify, plan, and execute goals; adapts to departmental changes and prioritizes multiple projects. Builds and maintains relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goal. Coordinate AI project lifecycles – Manage day-to-day execution of AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and compliance priorities. Facilitate governance and risk management – Support adherence to AI governance frameworks, including ethical use, privacy, data security, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FDA, etc.). Engage stakeholders across the enterprise – Serve as a liaison between clinical, technical, and administrative teams to align AI projects with organizational strategy and promote collaboration. Monitor progress and performance – Track milestones, deliverables, risks, and benefits of AI programs; provide executive-ready dashboards, summaries, and reporting. Drive adoption and change management – Partner with education and communications teams to enable AI training, build adoption strategies, and capture feedback for continuous improvement. Support strategic planning – Contribute to portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource alignment across AI use cases and workstreams. Advance responsible AI practices – Champion transparency, explainability, and bias mitigation in AI model deployment and decision-making. Foster innovation and improvement – Identify opportunities to expand AI value in clinical, operational, and administrative domains. Other duties as assigned The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree 2+ Work Experience Expertise in healthcare systems and quality improvement processes Excellent interpersonal, writing, verbal, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to portray and characterize complex information effectively Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to make decisions effectively and quickly High energy, positive behavior, and the ability to provide superior customer service Articulate communicator with effective interviewing and facilitation skills necessary to diplomatically guide multiple parties toward mutual strategic goals Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to lead and direct employees PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or data/AI-related field. Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or Portfolio Management certification. Experience with AI, machine learning, or digital health technologies in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, model lifecycle management, or data ethics programs.
