The Information Technology (IT) Supervisor of Metering Technology is a key leadership role responsible for managing the support, development, and implementation of metering and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) applications. This individual will lead a production support team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our metering technology landscape to ensure the delivery of stable, secure, and high-performing solutions that enable efficient business operations and exceptional customer service. The Supervisor will be accountable for maintaining system reliability, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across the metering application portfolio.
This role requires a dynamic blend of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration. The IT Supervisor will be responsible for managing application enhancements, coordinating system upgrades, and leading project implementations across the metering technology portfolio. Projects may follow either Agile or Waterfall methodologies, depending on scope and business needs, and will require close coordination with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders. The Supervisor will also play a key role in planning and prioritizing initiatives, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value. In addition to overseeing technical execution, this individual will foster strong relationships across departments, promote transparency in communication, and champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
