Role Objective: In this role, the support person will oversee IT systems and assets, assist with upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and tech industry trends to keep us on the cutting edge. Engaging with employees throughout the company, the IT support person will have an immediate impact on the efficiency of our operations and overall growth. Essential Job Tasks: Maintain essential IT operations, including Mac operating systems, web applications, Outlook and Gmail email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and office equipment hardware. Manage and handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements using our IT Help Desk. Oversees the daily/weekly updating of website content for publication on the company’s site. Project manage and oversee the 2025 website redevelopment in coordination with the third-party developer. Serve as the subject-matter expert supporting Mac OS X, Windows, Canon Printers and widely used software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Workspace. Graphic design creator for various company marketing and aircraft operations specifications material using Adobe, Canva or other graphic design platforms. Collaborates with different department teams to gather and refine content for online publication. New computer setup for all departments. Data tag and track computers and iPads as they are issued. Manage and ensure all Fly Alliance affiliated phone numbers work properly in coordination with Verizon and other telecommunication providers. Daily oversight of office headquarters digital monitors to ensure proper content is displayed, and to ensure all conference room equipment is working properly. Routine visits to all outlying locations to ensure all items are functioning well. Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software. Competencies: Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones. Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy. Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, and ensure components meet business needs and work together seamlessly. Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot and performance issues. Train employees in using software and hardware and provide technical support when needed. Work Environment: Work is performed at the company headquarters in Ocoee, Florida with standard office equipment. Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in the position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, climb ladders, etc. Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Operate a telephone requiring oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication. The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Some physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently. Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others. Travel: There is some travel required for this position. Traveled will be as needed between the Florida branches in Stuart and Miami, as well as our NY/NJ office in Teterboro.
