Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that all IT equipment and systems are operating as efficiently as possible.
  • Supporting with IT operations and enable Paragon ID to meet its business plan.
  • Achievement of agreed service levels for user departments and customers.
  • Monitoring of IT systems to meet the growing need of the users of the PID operation.
  • Managing Access
  • Configuring Security Software
  • Implementing security policies
  • Testing company’s systems to locate potential risks and vulnerabilitie

Qualifications:

  • Information Technology qualification (Desirable)
  • CPD (Essential)

Experience: (Essential)

  • A minimum of one year experience of in a similar role.
  • Microsoft operating systems and network administration experience is essential
  • Experience of hardware installation, maintenance and supporting internal stakeholders
  • Approachable and friendly with a positive attitude.
  • Good Communication Skill

Responsibilities:

The UK IT Support Administrator will primarily be responsible for providing first line Technical Support to the Paragon ID operation IT users. Day-to-day systems administration and front-end management of the software, to include the daily monitoring of information logs and data assessments. Providing day to day IT service support to all company users including; Windows/MAC/ e-mail, calendar, Microsoft Office, networking and other company systems.
Administration support of Windows Desktop & Laptops. Group Policy Management. Building or Upgrading Windows PCs and Laptops for new starters. Ensure that backups are performed. Administrative support of Windows Servers. Provide input and assist with the overall objectives of ongoing IT Projects. Ad-hoc project administration, continuously monitoring the systems and working within company guidelines to complete project duties to their professional standards.

  • Document and maintain IT inventory
  • Review and Resolve IT Helpdesk Requests
  • Prioritize and Escalate Issues as Necessary
  • Improving Security in the IT systems

Salary:
Up to £27,000 DOE
