For our Leidschendam office, we are looking for a (Senior) IT Support Administrator - Software and Licenses with a strong focus on software and license administration. Within this role, you will be part of our Global Support Team and will take a leading role in maintaining the software and license landscape to support our business stakeholders effectively.
Are you a seasoned IT professional with expertise in administering applications and licenses? Do you have experience with IT Service Management and IT Asset Management Tooling and a strong understanding of the needs of business stakeholders? If so, you could be the perfect fit for this role! You’ll also bring insight into the challenges faced by end users in the field, ensuring effective and efficient support.
Job Responsibilities
- You identify redundant, outdated or unlicensed application in use within our stakeholders group;
- You advise and assist stakeholders to the actions to be taken to remove outdated applications, avoid unnecessary license purchases and ensure new software is accepted and licensed;
- You work closely with the Security Operations Centre to address software vulnerabilities and keeping our software deployments and infrastructure up to date;
- You coordinate purchasing and renewal of license and software;
- You engage with stakeholders to ensure license compliance and renewal of licenses of software managed by and for Operational Technology Services;
- You maintain dashboards to ensure an accurate overview of the current application landscape;
- You check requests for software and other IT assets with applicants and ensure compliance with Fugro’s standards;
- You create software and license support related work instructions when required ;
- You lead by example and place quality, health and safety, security and the protection of our environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, processes, customers or the communities in which we work at risk.
Your track record
- You have at least 3 years of experience with a good understanding of IT service management process (ITIL) and ITSM tools, including experience of IT Asset Management tooling such as Snow software, Flexera or Xensam;
- You have a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field;
- You possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record;
- You have the ability to observe, think critically and solve problems using appropriate data analysis, interpretation and reasoning skills.
- You communicate well and can collaborate across functions;
- You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral;
- You are able to generate written instructions and support documentation.

The Operational Technology (OT) Services team is part of Fugro’s global IT Infrastructure and Security team. At OT Services we provide IT support to facilitate Fugro’s vessels and field operations, remote operations and processing of Geo-data collected during those operations. Within OT Services, the Deployment and Operations Support team coordinates and executes full scale deployment of IT infrastructure onboard Fugro’s marine vessels operating globally, and provides 24/7 IT operations support. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic IT System Engineer to expand our Deployment and Operations Support team in the Netherlands.
