IT Support level 2/3 position with Government organisation in Perth

Hays Technology is partnering with a respected public sector organisation seeking an experienced Level 2 / Level 3 Support Engineer to join their ICT team.

This role will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support across end-user devices, Microsoft cloud technologies, identity management and core infrastructure services. You will act as an escalation point for complex incidents while contributing to system improvements, upgrades and ongoing technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support across desktops, laptops and enterprise applications
• Manage and support Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID)
• and Microsoft 365 environment
• Administer user accounts, permissions, group policies and access control
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and authentication issues
• Support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Intune environment
• Assist with device deployments, upgrades and system enhancement
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Level 2 or Level 3 Support role
• Strong experience with Active Directory and Azure AD / EntraID
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft365, including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environment
• Exposure to Intune and endpoint management technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working within ITIL-based service environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
