This role provides first-line support to the employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining the network systems, and implementing IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This role requires good communications and prioritisation skills with the ability to work closely with the IT team as well as being independently driven. Help Desk Support: Monitoring and ensuring that the helpdesk is managed at an acceptable SLA’s. Focus on simplification and root cause analysis and remediation. Communicate through and with your team to ensure that customer expectations are met General IT Support: Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to user issue. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and software issues. Support and maintain network, desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other computing equipment. Assist with the setup and support of network systems, including LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPNs, and other networking equipment. Perform routine system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, ensuring optimal workstation performance. Coordinate with vendors for the repair of equipment covered by warranties or service agreements. IT Infrastructure Support: Understanding the equipment on site, who it has been allocated to and the status of the equipment. Be a point of contact for the site in relation to Infrastructure projects and day to day issues. Support the Infrastructure Team Lead with any switch, router, or Wi-Fi changes. Participate in IT Infrastructure projects as instructed by the Infrastructure Team Lead. Responsible of the purchase of IT assets for the site and raising POs in the SAP system. IT Hardware Procurement and Management: Building new hardware in line with current standards. Responsible in the documentation and inventory management of IT assets for the site. Leveraging Azure and Office 365 Toolsets to manage assets and Kinrise team members. Factory Based Support: Support factory-based computers in line with our safety and quality policies. Support RF (Radio Frequency) Warehouse devices especially around connectivity, configuration, and procurement. Support Printing across the site both SSCC Label Printing as well as general printing, this will include working with the printer vendors and ensuring that we maintain a high level of availability. Support the engineering team with their network requirements ensuring that they remain in line with company standards Why Join Us?
