About Rainbow Greenhouses
At Rainbow, we supply some of North America’s top retailers with millions of healthy, high-quality plants grown year-round. With over 5 million sq. ft. of greenhouse space across BC and Alberta, we combine resource-efficient growing practices, and data-driven solutions to offer consistent product availability at scale.
Who drives it all? Our people.
We’re a full-service supplier with specialized teams who plan, grow, sell, deliver and merchandise our products from seed to shelf. Every plant we grow depends on our people, and we are committed to creating a workplace with opportunities, innovation, and long-term success in mind.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an IT Support Analyst (Level 1) to join our growing team—ensuring our staff across multiple locations can work smoothly and efficiently, whether they’re onsite or remote. Experience or familiarity with farming or agriculture is a strong asset, as it helps in understanding the unique needs of our industry.
This is more than just a job—it’s a career path. With mentorship and learning opportunities, you’ll have the chance to grow into a Level 3 IT role, gaining hands-on experience in network and server administration, reporting, and even AI tools.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide responsive technical support to local and remote staff via phone, email, and chat
  • Monitor and resolve Level 1 helpdesk tickets within a 30-minute response window
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues (PCs, printers, phones, etc.)
  • Support and administer Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Set up and deploy new hardware (laptops, desktops, phones)
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Maintain printer/copier services and supplies
  • Assist with technical setup for in-person and online events
  • Participate in software lifecycle management (acquisition, deployment, licensing)
  • Help with rollout and support of our new ERP system
  • Conduct root cause analysis and document support procedures
  • Occasionally travel to sites in Alberta and British Columbia

You’ll Thrive Here If You Are:

  • Passionate about technology and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Adaptable, proactive, and take initiative
  • Ambitious and driven to grow within the IT field
  • Someone with a growth mindset excited to evolve into higher-level roles
