As our digital footprint grows, we’re looking for a tech-savvy and customer-focused Co-op Student to join our IT team.
A. **Purpose and Scope
As the IT Support Analyst Co-op Student, you will be the first point of contact for technical support within our organization. You’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, provide hands-on support to staff, and assist with IT documentation. If you have a passion for automation or application development, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to internal Power Apps projects.

B. **Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support to staff via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot issues related to workstations, printers, network connectivity, Office 365, Teams, and internal systems
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members with proper documentation
  • Set up new user accounts, configure workstations, and support onboarding tasks
  • Create and maintain asset inventory and update documentation as needed
  • Support security and compliance checks (e.g., password policies, updates)
  • Participate in technology onboarding, upgrades, and rollout initiatives
  • (Bonus) Assist with maintaining Power Apps solutions, building Power BI dashboard and Microsoft 365 development tasks if you have experience or interest
  • (Bonus) Help test, document, or build low-code solutions for internal process improvements

C. **Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field
  • Strong interest in IT service, end-user support, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, networking, and mobile devices
  • Organized and dependable, with strong attention to detail
  • (Bonus) Experience or coursework in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • (Bonus) Interest in low-code/no-code development or process automation
