Description Summary/Objective: The Junior IT Support Analyst provides first-line technical support to end users, ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations, and assists in maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology, good problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Position Type/Expected: Hours of work: Part-time Essential Functions: Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system. Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues. Perform physical hardware troubleshooting and minor repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Handle minor mobile device management (MDM) responsibilities, such as provisioning and configuring company computers and mobile devices. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary. Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and deactivation. Assist in deploying and maintaining IT systems, updates, and patches. Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions. Participate in special projects as needed. Requirements: 2–3 years of IT support experience, or equivalent technical training/education. Familiarity with Windows and MacOS operating systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Education & Experience: Experience with Microsoft 365 administration. Familiarity with help desk/ticketing systems. Basic understanding of IT security best practices.
