We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to be based in our Grange Park Office in Northampton (NN4 5FB).
The position holder will troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for individuals and businesses. They will also identify trends in support tickets and work to address broader underlying problems. This role supports the IT and infrastructure needs of a cutting-edge logistics facility.
You will be expected to work in the office Monday through Friday, 0800-1630, with occasional travel to other UK sites (Subject to Business Requirements). This role offer the salary of £32000.00 per annum.

Key responsibilities:
Collaborating with project teams to transition projects into business-as-usual (BAU) operations while maintaining and updating documentation.
Providing second-line support for users, hardware, software, and networks for Yusen staff across various sites through ServiceNow, phone, and email.
Offering quick resolution for software, hardware, and network issues, while utilizing basic networking skills such as IP addressing, VLANs, and troubleshooting.
Handling ongoing maintenance tasks, including service pack installations and software upgrades, while ensuring anti-virus tools are current.
Sharing knowledge with the team, training first-line support, and collaborating with third-line support to enhance expertise.
Documenting infrastructure work instructions accurately and adhering to change management policies.
Supporting operations during normal and out-of-hours as required, while staying informed about industry trends and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.

Key requirements:

  • MCSE certification or equivalent industry-recognized qualification/experience.
  • Relevant IT support experience.
  • Expertise in computer hardware/software innovation and delivery.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory/Entra user and group management.
  • Strong focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical work approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in complex troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking.
  • Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Understanding of the Internet and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based asset management tools (e.g., Intune, 42 Gears).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Customer and delivery-oriented mindset.
  • Good interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Flexible and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Full driving license for occasional UK travel.
