We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support and Systems Administrator to join our team, based out of our head office in CastleIsland, Co. Kerry to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and contribute to our continued growth and development.

JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Support and Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT hardware and software, administering Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, overseeing equipment and website management, supporting ERP/CRM systems, and maintaining various other business-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support and Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems including user support, configuration, and integration.
  • Experience managing and maintaining websites including content updates, security, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate etc..) are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain IT hardware, including servers, workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, including user account management, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Oversee equipment management, including inventory tracking, procurement, and disposal.
  • Support ERP and CRM systems, including user access, configuration, troubleshooting, and liaising with vendors or consultants as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the company website, including updates, security, and integration with other systems.
  • Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and regularly tested.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and support new technologies and systems.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company’s IT infrastructure remains current and secure.
