Role: IT Support Apprentice
Location: Nottingham, NG16 3BF
Salary: £16,000 p/a
Hours: Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7am and 6.30pm
Hey there, tech-savvy peeps! Are you ready to embark on an epic IT adventure? Your IT Department Ltd is on the lookout for an apprentice IT Support Technician to join our incredible team based in Eastwood, Nottingham. Buckle up and get ready to provide first-line technical support, configure cool equipment, and even rock some on-site installations. It’s time to unleash your inner IT hero!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answering customer calls, emails, and even live chats to provide top-notch first-line technical support. You’ll be the go-to hero for anyone in need.
  • Flex those IT muscles and support Windows PCs, servers, network devices, and printers. You’ll be the IT guru everyone turns to.
  • We love keeping things organised! You’ll accurately categorise and record service tickets using our IT Business Management System, ConnectWise.
  • Time to show off your troubleshooting skills! You’ll tackle incidents with basic troubleshooting methods and document every step like a true pro.
  • Remember, communication is key! You’ll keep customer documentation up to date and work towards smashing those service level agreements.
  • When you’re ready, you’ll become a master at configuring and setting up equipment in-house, getting it ready to rock ’n’ roll at our clients’ locations.
  • As you gain experience and confidence, you’ll even get to assist with on-site installations of computers and basic networking equipment. How cool is that?
