DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an entry-level IT Support Associate to join our growing technology team. This person will be the first point of contact for technical support needs across the organization, helping staff troubleshoot common IT issues and ensuring timely resolution or escalation. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in healthcare IT in a mission-driven, fully remote environment.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field or minimum 2 years experience in a helpdesk or technical support role (internships, volunteer, or coursework acceptable).
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Gmail, Drive, etc.), computer systems, mobile devices, remote tools, Electronic Health Records, and similar systems/platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations, particularly HIPAA.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams.Experience in Healthcare IT is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via chat, email, or ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot basic IT issues related to hardware, software, Google Workspace, network connectivity, and remote tools.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support of IT issues related to hardware, software, Google Workspace, network connectivity, and remote tools to clinical staff, providers, and patients, in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Provide timely and courteous support, escalating tickets as needed to Tier 2 or specialized team members.
  • Maintain detailed records of issues and resolutions using the internal ticketing system.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting instructions.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks including device setup, account provisioning, and user access.
  • Collaborate with teammates and leadership to identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
