Role and Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot individual workstations (Mac and PC), ensuring proper hardware and software configuration for individual employee workstations. Support employees with their interactions with industry-standard software such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.), and DaVinci Resolve.
- Assist with user access management, including account creation and permission updates across internal systems with a focus on optimizing performance and ensuring compatibility with post-production software suites.
- Support the onboarding/offboarding process by preparing and wiping devices, creating user accounts, and setting access levels.
- Help ensure workstation and device compliance with TPN/MPAA security protocols under supervision.
- Track and check in/out hardware and software licenses, updating internal inventory records regularly ensuring software licenses are current to prevent downtime and maintain productivity.
- Support the media team by helping monitor server health and flagging access issues or errors to senior staff.
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and network issues, escalating unresolved problems when needed.
- Assist with routine software updates and patch management to maintain system security, stability, and compliance.
- Maintain a tidy and organized IT workspace and storage area, ensuring equipment is labeled and accounted for.
- Document support processes and contribute to SOPs for repeatable tasks.
- Support the Media Department with the administration and maintenance of servers, networks, storage systems, and other IT hardware and software components and troubleshooting of server systems.
- Maintain high standards of content security and enforce best practices across the team.
- Manage and organize equipment inventory; identify and dispose of obsolete equipment, and oversee the procurement and tracking of new hardware and software assets.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively take measures to optimize resources and enhance productivity.

Required Knowledge and Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support or a technical help desk role. Internship or academic experience will be considered.
- Mac Expert
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows, industry-specific software, and hardware requirements
- Basic understanding of networks, user permissions, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience using Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in solving day-to-day issues.
- Interest in post-production or media organization is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 40 lbs) and work on-site as needed.
- Knowledge of Studio Content Security protocols like MPAA and Trusted Partner Network

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
