NEW YORK CITY IT SUPPORT ASSOCIATE The Fresh Air Fund is a youth development organization providing transformative outdoor experiences, at no cost, for New York City children from underserved communities. At six sleepaway camps in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley, children have new experiences, learn new skills and gain new perspectives. Youth also participate in year-round leadership, career exploration and educational programs.  Position Summary The Fresh Air Fund is hiring seasonal IT Support Associates to assist the Information Systems and Technology team on various summer projects and initiatives, namely the New York City-based in-person programs. The role requires strong customer service skills and familiarity with equipment, hardware, software and other technology.  Time permitting, IT Support Associates may also assist with other projects such as data migration or equipment inventory. The ideal candidate is curious, goal-oriented and hard-working with previous experience working in a technology support capacity.     This is a blended on-site in-person support position which requires three days a week in The Fresh Air Fund’s New York City office. The role will report to the IS&T Manager & Platform Administrator. Employment Period: Mid-June 2026 – Late-August, 2026 Hours per Week: approximately 35 hours per week Working Hours: Varies by program assigned, which may rotate during the summer, as listed below:   * NYC Office: Monday – Friday (hybrid, onsite/remote)   * Weekends: As needed during summer  Compensation: $20/hour Benefits: None. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Assist members of the IT Department in all facets of support and management, including device deployment, applicationinstallationand general troubleshooting.  * Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting server-based operations.  * Provide tech support for staff and participants, including Help Desk responses.  * Manage and troubleshoot wireless networks.  * In-person and remote tech support.  * Identify and document problems and notify the Fresh Air Fund IT Admin Team.  * Other duties as assigned.  Qualifications * Mustbe 18+ years of age. * A solid understanding of and experience with PC and Mac-based hardware and software.  * A solid understanding of and experience with mobiledeviceand tablet-based hardware and software.  * Familiarity with hotspot technologies (mifi andcradlepoint) and troubleshooting.  * Experience with Zoom and Teams andits advancedcontrol features.   * Experience with remote support and remote support tools (Splashtop/Zoom/Teams).   * The ability to interact with users of varying tech skill levels.  * Customer service experience.   * Interest in joining a youth development organization and supporting its mission and vision.  As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, The Fresh Air Fund requires all employees to meet applicable vaccination requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. As new public health issues arise, The Fresh Air Fund may require additional vaccinations. Proof of vaccination or an approved exemption will be required as a condition of employment, if applicable.  APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: To apply, please submit a New York City IT Support cover letter and resume.
