OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset to ensure effective resolution of technical issues for our users.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in IT support or technical support roles, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools such as BMC Remedy is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and their functionalities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist users with VPN connectivity and computer networking problems.
  • Manage help desk tickets using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira, ensuring all issues are logged and tracked efficiently.
  • Perform desktop support tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on firewalls and LAN setups to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain documentation of technical procedures and user guides for reference.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while addressing user inquiries and concerns.
