IT Support Engineer – PC Refresh

Rate: AUD 250 per day

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer – PC Refresh to support onsite PC refresh and end-user computing activities. The engineer will be responsible for hardware replacement, device deployment, data migration, troubleshooting, and ensuring a smooth transition for users.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PC refresh activities, including hardware replacement, system upgrades, and device migration.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, Windows operating systems, and standard applications.
• Perform data backup, data transfer, and user profile migration as required.
• Install and configure peripherals including monitors, printers, docking stations, and other IT equipment.
• Provide onsite L1/L2 technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and application-related issues.
• Perform asset tagging, inventory updates, and equipment documentation.
• Follow project procedures, schedules, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with remote support teams and project managers to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient user transition throughout PC refresh activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT Desktop Support, EUC Support, or PC Refresh projects.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with laptop/desktop deployment, imaging, configuration, and migration.
• Experience with data backup, transfer, and user profile migration.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work onsite and independently manage assigned refresh tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow project timelines, procedures, and documentation requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Available to work onsite for the project duration.
• Comfortable handling multiple PC refresh activities and end-user interactions.
• Able to work independently while coordinating with remote support and project teams.
• Previous PC refresh/deployment project experience will be highly preferred.

Pay: $250.00 per day
