Description
General Hotels Corporation is seeking an IT Support Engineer. The role is responsible for supporting and managing new projects as well as implementing and maintaining all brand IT standards. The role requires exceptional customer service and support for internal and external customer-facing systems.   Essential duties and responsibilities: * Support systems to include guest room lock system, tv system, computers, networks, wiring, security cameras and property management systems * Diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components (Establish root cause assessments for systems and resolving issues) * Ensuring all security elements required for PCI Compliance * Meet and/or exceed all SLA requirements * Working with outside vendors to escalate and prioritize fixes * Documenting issues to improve support processes * Provide on-site support at properties - travel expectation is approximately 70% * Answer off-hour support calls (nights/weekends) when necessary Qualifications: * Hotel industry IT experience preferred * Ability to analyze, diagnose, replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues (standard to highly complex) * Ability to plan, organize, and efficiently manage multiple projects * Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills * Knowledge and experience working with and troubleshooting the following systems: * Windows 10, 11 * Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Office) * Networks * Wiring * Telephone Systems * Security Compliance * Guest Room Key Card Systems * Security Cameras * Hospitality TV’s Benefits Include: * Medical, Dental, and Vision Options * Company Vehicle * Company Paid Life Insurance * Company Paid Telemedicine * Supplemental Life Insurance * 401(k) with company match * Earned Wage Access (“on-demand-pay”) * Hotel Room Discounts * Company Paid Employee Assistance Program * Perks through Benefit Hub * Time-off Package   General Hotels Corporation is committed to enriching lives through award-winning hospitality.
