We’re supporting two schools in Ashford with the recruitment of a full-time IT Support Engineer – an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician to support a growing educational setting and play a key role in the development of a new, purpose-built school site launching later this summer.
Based across two schools in Ashford, Kent

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the IT Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing a consistent, high-quality IT support service across both sites. The working week will be split across the two schools (3 days at one, 2 days at the other), with minimal travel required during the day.
This role requires someone confident in managing and maintaining school IT systems, with a solid background in server administration and strong troubleshooting ability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and students
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Maintain security, backups, antivirus, and compliance across systems
• Manage IT asset registers and contribute to system improvements
