OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and strong communication skills with business professionals. Duties for this role include maintenance of existing codebase processes and contributing new code to improve or fix current issues. This role is crucial in maintaining and monitoring the efficiency of our IT infrastructure while documenting and solving all support issues that arise.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in PHP.
  • Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of computer management and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient in supporting various operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Proven experience in writing & maintaining documentation and wiki pages.
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues effectively and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

ROLE SPECIFICS

This role is a 3-Month, Contract-to-hire position that is ON-SITE ONLY.

DUTIES

  • Write & Maintain programs related to monitoring & running job control processes
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with desktop support tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers and peripherals.
  • Utilize Monday.com for ticket management and issue tracking.
  • Conduct analysis of IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement or potential issues.
  • Maintain and contribute to documentation related to IT processes and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting users with technical inquiries and educating them on best practices.
