We are seeking a skilled Engineer/Senior Engineer (Services) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide first-line support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure seamless system operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage incidents effectively, perform installations and updates, and contribute to technical documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux OS systems .
  • Basic understanding of networking and scripting for automation.
  • Experience in incident and problem management (ITIL standards preferred) .
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills .
  • Certifications in IT-related fields are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 support and respond to fault calls.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers reporting issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software failures (Level 1 support).
  • Track outstanding issues and collaborate with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Perform software and hardware installations, updates, and bug fixes .
  • Conduct periodic system checks and testing.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation (SOW, network diagrams, troubleshooting guides, incident reports).
  • Operate within ITIL-based service management guidelines, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and After Action Review (AAR) .
  • Work outside standard hours for system activities when required.
  • Travel to customer sites as necessary.
