POSITION OVERVIEW

We are urgently seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our client’s team in London. The successful candidate will provide onsite first- and second-level support across workstations, mobility devices, and IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on role in a large enterprise environment (+400 users), requiring strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Strong technical knowledge of workplace environments and end-user services:
  • Windows (Office 2016 / Office 365)
  • Collaboration tools (MS Teams, email services, mobility solutions)
  • IT asset and inventory management
  • Basic understanding of Apple environments (iOS, iPhone, iPad).
  • Hands-on experience with incident & request management (ITIL framework, ticketing systems).
  • Proven experience in a large enterprise support environment (+400 users).
  • Minimum 3 years of onsite IT support and customer-facing service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and analytical skills; able to deliver positive customer service.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, pragmatic, and able to work independently.
  • Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line onsite support for workstations, mobility devices, and IT infrastructure (installations, replacements, relocations, removals).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software incidents on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad).
  • Support and maintain inventory units such as monitors, local/network printers, scanners, and docking stations.
  • Receive, inventory, and prepare IT equipment for installation; perform setups and ensure proper feedback to end-users.
  • Assist with mobile device management (MDM) and related support.
  • Monitor and report on production environments (dashboards, KPIs).
  • Contribute to the improvement of procedures, documentation, and knowledge base.
  • Deliver consistently excellent customer service and end-user experience.
