Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising The Roof Gardens’ IT and digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical support, ensuring seamless experiences for both our members and colleagues. Your expertise in restaurant and F&B technology environments will be essential in supporting critical systems, including Micros Simphony POS and EMC, with knowledge of Oracle Reporting & Analytics (R&A) and payment systems being highly desirable.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining and troubleshooting key business systems, such as EPOS, payment processing, networking infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, event management systems and membership and CRM platforms.

Essential:

  • IT support experience within a restaurant, hospitality, or F&B environment.
  • Extensive experience with Micros Simphony POS, including Simphony EMC configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, endpoint management, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience supporting a mix of platforms, including Windows servers, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Apple devices.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Passion for championing diversity, equality, equity and inclusion.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Oracle Reporting & Analytics (R&A).
  • Experience with event management software and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with Adyen or other payment processing systems.
  • Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and VoIP telephony solutions.
