Description:
As an IT Support Assistant at Zahr Freighters in Dubai, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will provide support for IT incidents and service requests, manage our Microsoft 365 environment, and assist with various IT projects. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of IT service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- IT Support: Address and resolve IT incidents and service requests, including software, hardware, network, and other IT-related issues. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades for IT systems and applications. Monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Microsoft 365 Management: Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment, including user management, security, compliance, and application support.
- Azure Management: Utilize the Microsoft Azure portal to manage and support cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security configurations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations. Share knowledge and solutions with the team to improve overall IT support.
- End-User Assistance: Provide training and guidance to end-users on the use of IT systems and applications, ensuring they are equipped to handle basic technical issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless IT operations and support. Contribute to the planning and execution of IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Security Compliance: Ensure IT systems and processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and security best practices. Identify and address potential security risks.
