Description

Welcome to KIND!

With over 3,500 employees, we operate around 750 stores in Germany and abroad. We work together every day as a team with enthusiasm, dynamism, and dedication. As one of the leading companies in hearing acoustics and optometry, we are constantly growing and always looking for fresh talent to join our teams. A fantastic opportunity for people who want to help shape the future!

We don't care how much professional experience you already have – what we're looking for is your enthusiasm for IT and your willingness to learn our systems. As the contact person for our colleagues in the KIND stores, you'll provide the best possible support for all relevant questions.

Your tasks

  • Remote and telephone support for our specialist stores in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland
  • Processing, documentation and prioritization of requests and fault reports via our ticketing system
  • Remote support for the installation and use of various software products
  • Testing software products for compatibility and interactions
  • Conducting error analyses and initiating measures
  • Communication with and, if necessary, commissioning of service providers and suppliers, as well as forwarding of malfunctions to downstream units.
  • Creation of information and instructions for end users and their distribution via internal media (intranet, FAQs, user manuals, etc.)
  • Development of solutions for in-house developed software, also across departments.

Your profile

  • You have completed vocational training in the IT field, ideally with initial professional experience in IT support.
  • You are open to learning about components used in specialist shops or in user environments (current Windows operating systems, in-house developed software, measurement & fitting software)
  • You have basic knowledge of the common office products.
  • You have a good sense of priorities and a structured way of working.
  • You possess strong communication skills and customer focus, as well as social skills.
  • Your German language skills are at a very good level - at least C2.
  • You are willing to take on clearly defined on-call duties (usually every 4-5 weeks on Saturdays with subsequent time off in lieu).

This is what we offer you

  • A structured onboarding process and a well-established team where personal commitment and mutual support are paramount.
  • A growing, modern environment with opportunities for design and short decision-making processes
  • Further education and training for personal and professional development
  • Flexible working hours and partial mobile working (possible after 6 months of employment)
  • Freshly prepared meals daily in our subsidized company restaurant – regional, organic, and always with a vegetarian option.
  • Employee discounts of up to 50% for staff and 30% for family members on our KIND products (glasses & hearing aids)
  • "Corporate benefits" – attractive employee offers from well-known providers
