Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Newton Abbot. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients and cutting-edge technologies. You will join the IT Support Team for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimising IT systems, ensuring our clients’ businesses run smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional technical support to clients, resolving IT issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and repair desktop computers, printers, and other hardware.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and network-related problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining clear and professional communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with a talented team to develop innovative IT solutions.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Proven expertise in technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in answering the phone and communicating with customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant IT certifications or training (CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous).
