THE ROLE

You’ll split your time between hands-on installs and smart configuration. One day you’re racking servers, pulling fibre and commissioning CCTV on a windswept public site; the next you’re shaping a clean Windows/Hyper-V build, tightening backup policies, and smoothing a tricky Office 365 migration. If you like a neat ticket queue and an easy 4:30 finish, this isn’t it. If you want to stretch your capability and be trusted to figure things out, you’ll love it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build & configure Windows Server (2019/2022), Hyper-V, AD/Group Policy, Office 365/SharePoint, Veeam, and core networking.
• Install & integrate: structured cabling, switching, Wi-Fi, servers, CCTV (Axis/Avigilon), ANPR (MAV Systems), VoIP (3CX—hosted & self-hosted).
• Own the outcome: diagnose across hardware, software, and network layers; test thoroughly; document clearly.
• Work the field: office/workshop prep, then on-site deployment across public domain projects and heavy-industrial environments.
• Grow others: mentor junior engineers and, over time, step into team-lead responsibilities.
