In early 2021, the keywords business expanded their global operations across the pacific to the Australian market where we currently employee 140+ staff across Melbourne and Brisbane. Job Description Role Overview As our first point of contact, you will ensure the studio’s technical engine runs smoothly. Your day-to-day will involve: Frontline Support: Managing the internal help desk, resolving level-one tickets and escalation to our senior team. Hardware Deployment: Assembling, configuring, and deploying high-end workstations and specialised game development hardware. User Management: Provisioning accounts and managing group memberships within Office 365, Google and Active Directory. System Guardian: Monitoring daily backups, tracking system health and ensuring 24/7 network availability. Inventory & Projects: Maintaining an accurate hardware inventory and assisting the wider regional IT team on major infrastructure upgrades. Qualifications Essential Skills: A recent degree/certification in IT or equivalent experience in a service support role. Solid troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11 in a networked environment. You know your way around the inside of a PC and can handle assembly and configuration with ease. A conceptual understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and Windows network client configuration. High self-motivation, a growth mindset, strong stakeholder management and a collaborative mindset. Desirable Skills: Experience with Active Directory or O365 hybrid environments. Interest in PowerShell or Bash scripting. Exposure to virtualization (ESXi/vSphere) or Linux servers (Debian, Ubuntu). Familiarity with switch/firewall configurations or VLANs.
