Description VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Lonestar Electric Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for an IT Support Associate to play an integral role in supporting our rapidly growing business and team. In this role, you will be the front-line support specialist responsible for set-up, administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of all computer systems within our network. The ideal candidate will be expected to resolve most Tier 1 and some Tier 2 level support calls, only escalating those issues that are outside your ability. Responsibilities Operating system installations per company specifications. Configuration and troubleshooting of installed applications. Asset management of hardware and software. Scheduled after-hours system patching and upgrades. Provide excellent customer support through email and phone to a user base of 650+ users and computers. Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Provide on-call support and after-hours maintenance on a scheduled rotation. Other responsibilities as requested. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of progressive experience. 1 year of Windows Desktop OS experience preferred. Prior troubleshooting of wireless connectivity. Microsoft Active Directory administration including on-premises and Azure AD. Exchange online administration. Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to manage and prioritize work. Automation experience preferred. Patch and vulnerability management experience. Experience with ConnectWise software is a plus. Experience with Epicor Eclipse is a plus. Occasional overnight domestic travel will be required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
