We’re looking for a capable and personable IT Support Officer to provide onsite support for a leading organisation in Brisbane on a 6-week contract commencing in late September.

Working as the sole IT support person onsite, you’ll provide hands-on desktop and technical support across a Microsoft-based environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the person people can rely on to solve their IT issues quickly and professionally.

About the role

• Provide onsite Level 1/2 desktop and technical support
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, systems and user issues
• Support users across a range of Microsoft technologies
• Manage incidents, requests and day-to-day IT issues
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops and peripherals
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Liaise with broader technical teams when issues require escalation

You will need to have the following:

• Previous experience in a desktop or IT support role
• Strong Microsoft technology knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• A friendly, approachable and professional manner
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Availability to commence in late September for the full 6-week contract
