Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a result of continuous company growth, GPA is looking for a motivated IT Support Officer to join our growing IT team. Motivation and the capability to learn on the job is essential. We will provide mentoring and access to support, however the ability to provide feedback and manage your own development is important.

  • Part of the recruitment process for this position, is to provide a guided 2-3 minute video introduction of yourself (via Willo), a link to the Willo portal will be shared with you if your application is successful in the first instance.
  • The successful candidate will be required to spend 1-2 months in Adelaide head office at the expense of GPA to meet and learn from the core IT Team.

KEY DUTIES

The primary focus of this role requires the successful candidate to work with GPA’s large contingent of engineers by:

  • Monitoring and maintaining incoming IT Help Desk tickets,
  • Providing desktop support,
  • Managing physical office infrastructure,
  • Maintaining client systems, including imaging (MDT) and general troubleshooting.

In addition, the role may include a portion of Operational Technology (OT) work for our industrial clients. This may include:

  • Setting up server and network hardware,
  • Setting up and configuring virtual machines (VM),
  • Providing maintenance and support to remote clients,
  • Attending site to troubleshoot or commission new systems.
