The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an IT Support Officer to join Century Yuasa in a pivotal position in our highly driven IT team. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is the first point of contact for all IT assistance to our customers’ hardware and software enquiries. In this role you will oversee procurement and related documentation whilst assisting with troubleshooting computer problems, liaising with the end-user and determining solutions and activating appropriate action. 

This role is based out of the Century Yuasa Batteries head office located in Carole Park working Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Service Desk environment using ITSM Systems or 3+ years experience in an Administrative role
• Experience in remote support of hardware and software applications
• Skills with supporting PABX systems and mobile phone applications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills both via phone, Zoom and email
• Good attention to detail and time, task, and priority management skills
• Great relationship building, maintenance, and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision making and problem solving

Desirable

• Knowledge of Citrix and ITIL
• Excellent organization skills
• Strong time, task and priority management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. empathy, listening skills)
• Good hardware and software knowledge
