Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom, is looking for an IT Support Officer at our Birmingham campus.
Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population is over 3000.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The IT Support Officer will play a vital role in maintaining the technological infrastructure across all campuses and enhancing the digital presence of the institution. This is a On Site role combining IT support duties with responsibilities for managing and updating the school’s websites, ensuring that both digital functionality and internal support are seamless and effective.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide first and second-line support for technical issues involving hardware, software, and networks
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (PCs, printers, projectors, classroom AV tools)
Manage user accounts, security permissions, and IT asset tracking
Ensure compliance with data protection policies and maintain secure backups
Deploy systems and software updates across multiple campuses
Troubleshoot and escalate issues as necessary to maintain minimal downtime
Design, update, and maintain the Scholars School System’s official website and microsites
Ensure web design is responsive, accessible, and consistent with brand guidelines
Collaborate with internal teams to manage content updates and key communications
Optimise site performance and SEO for a better user experience
Integrate websites with external systems (e.g., LMS platforms, admissions portals)
Ensure all web-based content complies with GDPR and accessibility regulations
