We are looking for a dedicated IT Support specialist to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will provide first-level technical assistance to both internal and external clients, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in troubleshooting and excellent communication skills.

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Pay: $18-22 per hour

• Provide first-level technical support to internal and external users, addressing a variety of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems by asking detailed questions to understand user needs and determine the most effective solutions.
• Research and document recurring technical issues to enhance personal knowledge and contribute to product development initiatives.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly and effectively to clients while documenting all interactions accurately and thoroughly.
• Support the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of software, including Office 365 applications, internet browsers, and mobile applications.
• Maintain and update the internal knowledgebase to improve support processes and share best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical expertise and improve service delivery.
• Ensure consistent and punctual attendance while adhering to company policy and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment.
• Previous experience in help desk or technical support is a plus.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, mobile application support, and internet browser configuration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
