Job Overview: This role supports the IT Manager by helping manage daily IT operations and providing technical support across the organization. The IT Support Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are running smoothly and securely, and supporting staff with hardware, software, and connectivity needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide front-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system issues across all departments. Assist with the maintenance and setup of workstations, servers, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment. Support user account setup and permissions management through systems like Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI. Ensure regular software updates, system patches, and licensing compliance across all platforms. Help monitor and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems. Work closely with the IT Manager and external vendors on escalated support issues and IT projects. Contribute to cybersecurity awareness and implementation of protection measures. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, or new technology rollouts. Train end-users on IT tools, systems, and best practices to improve efficiency and security. WHO YOU ARE Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related roles. Strong understanding of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and SQL Familiarity with security best practices and common IT troubleshooting tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. A proactive team player with a customer-service mindset. Curious, calm troubleshooter, willing to learn, excellent communicator and one who takes ownership of their work!
