Core4ce is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled JBSA IT Support Specialist to join our team of innovators, self-starters, and critical thinkers at the DHA - Fort Sam Houston location. Your responsibilities will include providing first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems. You will be expected to resolve user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving various issues/requests for peripheral devices

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance
  • At least 1 -2 years of professional experience in information technology or a directly related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise hardware, software, peripherals, specifically Microsoft and COTS software.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, including laptops, desktops, servers, and networking equipment
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software issues
  • Familiarity with the principles of IT security
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with IT support ticketing systems
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and wireless networking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common desktop applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
