Description Job Summary DeSHAZO is seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team. This on-site role supports company employees under the direction of the IT Support Manager. While you’ll be based at our headquarters, over 70% of the users you support are located across the U.S. in our manufacturing plants and service locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in follow-through, and values being a dependable teammate. Technical skills can be taught, we’re far more interested in your approach, mindset, and commitment to providing excellent service. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system Provide friendly, professional, and customer-focused support to both on-site and remote users Document, track, and manage support tickets to ensure issues are resolved completely and on time Follow up with users to confirm resolution and satisfaction Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues with guidance and escalation as needed Assist with setting up and configuring workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment Support IT asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment deployment Assist with IT projects such as software rollouts, system upgrades, and security initiatives Assist with basic reporting, documentation, or data requests related to IT systems and operations Maintain accurate documentation and pay close attention to details that impact user experience What We’re Really Looking For Highly customer-service oriented and genuinely enjoys helping others Reliable, organized, and strong with follow-up so nothing falls through the cracks Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things the right way Clear, patient communicator with non-technical users Comfortable asking questions and learning new systems Positive team player who contributes to a respectful, collaborative culture Qualifications Exposure to IT support, technology, or troubleshooting through work, school, or personal experience Basic familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, or general computer concepts Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies Experience in a customer-facing role is a strong plus Nice-to-Have Exposure to ERP systems (manufacturing, finance, or operations platforms especially Sage and Epicor) Ability to generate basic reports or work with data Familiarity with SQL concepts or basic querying Curiosity about how systems and data connect across the organization Working Conditions Office-based role with occasional on-site visits to other company locations Periodic work in manufacturing plant environments Must be comfortable following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE Manufacturing areas may be loud, hot/cold, or dirty May require lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds Standard business hours (7:30am-4:30pm) with some flexibility to meet support needs Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance 401(k) plan with company match Company-paid short-term disability insurance Long-term disability insurance available Company-paid basic life insurance Employee Assistance Program Additional life insurance options 9 paid holidays PTO program Tool purchase program Weekly pay periods with direct deposit Competitive pay Equal Opportunity Employer DeSHAZO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
