Description Salary will be between $40,000 to $45,000 per year (based on experience) Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, includes insurance and time off benefits Easterseals Florida is looking for an organized, customer-service focused, and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide onsite introductory-level technical support across our Volusia County and Flagler County locations. What You’ll Do As our IT Support Specialist, you’ll travel between program locations to provide first-level support and keep our teams up and running. Key responsibilities include: Set up and install desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware Configure and install software and drivers, including maintenance and removal during employee separations Troubleshoot basic networking issues, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and other equipment Diagnose system problems, analyze information provided, and follow through until issues are resolved Provide helpful, timely technical support—including showing users how to properly utilize equipment Identify recurring issues by reviewing technical reports and service trends Maintain accurate inventory of desktops, laptops, hotspots, and other assigned technology Work with external vendors to resolve technical issues Ensure compliance when users send confidential information, including proper encryption Communicate clearly with non-technical users, providing daily updates as needed to minimize downtime Plan and prioritize tasks using strong organizational and project-management skills What You Bring Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Six months to one year of related IT/helpdesk experience preferred Basic understanding of networking technologies and ability to troubleshoot routers, switches, and related hardware Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Office 365 experience a plus Strong troubleshooting skills—able to resolve issues independently and collaboratively Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain tech to non-technical users Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail Ability to learn new systems quickly and maintain confidential information Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs.
