JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Junior IT Support Technician) to provide hands-on IT support across both office and shop floor environments. This role involves a mix of 60% shop floor and 40% desk-based work, supporting end users, maintaining equipment, and ensuring IT processes run smoothly.
This position is ideal for candidates with 1+ year of IT experience or recent college graduates looking to build their career in IT infrastructure and support.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

1+ year of IT support experience (recent IT-related graduates will be considered).
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, intranet, and internet functionality.
Understanding of computer security concepts.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work on the shop floor (safety gear required).

Responsibilities

Perform standard IT support tasks such as computer imaging, printer maintenance (toner/parts replacement), and resolving tickets through ServiceNow.
Document processes, update asset records, and maintain logs/reports.
Support routine equipment maintenance, supply orders, and inventory tracking.
Provide effective communication with end users, delivering strong customer service and clear documentation.
Troubleshoot technical issues using knowledge base (KB) articles and escalate issues outside documented solutions.
Ensure compliance with IT security concepts and policies.
Work in both climate-controlled office spaces and non-climate-controlled shop floor areas.
Occasionally assist with lift operations up to 15–20 feet off the ground (not mandatory if unable).
