Description Part Time Position - Onsite At Families in Transition, we’re on a mission to Prevent and Break the Cycle of Homelessness. Families in Transition is currently looking for a part-time IT Support Specialist to join our team! The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to internal users and prioritize and escalate helpdesk requests. In addition to troubleshooting network and hardware issues, you will configure new software and oversee application updates. This role is a great opportunity for a dynamic problem-solver who loves helping people and takes pride in providing high-quality support. This is a part-time position Monday-Friday. Essential Functions: • Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly to ensure our business operations run smoothly. • Install and configure new technology including computer operating systems, software programs, applications, new laptops, and other computer hardware. • Perform regular maintenance to our computer systems, printers, cameras, and any other technical equipment. • Administer new user accounts, email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently. • Work with vendors for onsite repairs. • Assist with pulling security camera footage and provide security camera training to staff. • Manage and prioritize helpdesk requests. • Participate in in-service training. • Other duties as assigned. *Families in Transition is an Equal Opportunity Employer* Requirements Minimum Requirements: - High School diploma required. 1–2-year experience working with IT systems Familiarity with Windows, Mac, and iPhones General knowledge of troubleshooting Internet Connectivity, phone systems, network systems and other technological office equipment Proficiency in Microsoft Office products HR-JD ITSS 2023 Preferred Qualifications: - Associates Degree or higher in Information Technology.
