Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide both day-to-day technical support and long-term infrastructure assistance. This role will work closely alongside an IT management company to deliver seamless support, strengthen system reliability, and help build out IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is resourceful, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing both frontline troubleshooting and project-based initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff IT requests (hardware, software, connectivity).
  • Remotely log into staff devices to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Configure and deploy laptops and other end-user devices for new hires.
  • Support hardware troubleshooting (laptops, printers, monitors, networking equipment).
  • Handle equipment shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking.
  • Document IT procedures, resolutions, and escalation pathways.
  • Assist with onboarding and decommissioning of employees and devices.
  • Collaborate with the IT management company on infrastructure build-out, system standardization, and process improvements.
  • Maintain a strong customer service approach in all staff interactions.
