  • Status: Full-time, 40/hrs. week - In Person

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Basic understanding of physical PC hardware and driver principles, and how to troubleshoot workstations, peripherals and mobile devices connected to our network.
  • Basic understanding of internet and network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, groups, distribution lists, and users accounts.
  • Knowledge of Office365 troubleshooting at an intermediate level.
  • A basic understanding of software licensing and installation processes for necessary software.
  • An evident desire to help people use computers and technology to make their work easier.
  • A congenial and understanding attitude towards those needing help with technology.
  • Knowledge of MDM management and enrollment/reassignment process are not required, but would be very helpful.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks, including analyzing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting of PC hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, and communication devices for the entire organization. Performs a variety of project tasks and requires good communications skills with the ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfully.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Being able to image (install a fresh image of windows with the latest updates and network security applications) a PC, add it to the domain, and get software installed for a new user to use email and zoom meetings for trainings.
  • Assign and configure proper licenses and permissions per user. (Zoom, Microsoft 365, Adobe, etc)
  • Assign Badges and badge location access to users.
  • Ordering and setting up a phone for an employee, and configuring 2 factor authentication.
  • Installing basic software and drivers.
  • Basic password resets.
  • Establishing an internet connection with a PC.
  • Connecting a printer to a PC.
  • Creating user accounts in Active Directory with appropriate permissions.
  • Adding and removing people to groups in Active Directory.
